Perfume

Source: Perfume: Perfume memories.  The nose remembers.   If you get a wiff of the perfume your mom used to where the connection is instantaneous.

My husbands parents took out infant son for a night so we could have some time to ourselves and rest.  I got a little fixed up and put on the perfume I used to wear when we were dating.  I hadn’t worn it in probably 3 years.  When he came home from leaving the baby at his parents I gave him a hug and kiss.   While we were hugging my husband started having a severe asthma attack.  Allergies change.  He’s allergic to that perform.  So I have to shower while he uses inhalers and allergy medicine. Goodnight.

Positive thinking.   I mentally put myself in the mind and body of myself at a better time in my life.

5-I do not need gifts.  I need to be with the ones I love. That’s my version of a gift.

8-Pumkin Beer. Only easily avaiable Halloween/Thanksgiving time of year. Along with everything else pumkin like ice cream, gnocchi, cheesecake.

11. I can not spell! I failed spelling in 6th grade. This scared me for life. The more realistic reason is I couldn’t here due to chronic ear infections during those early learning years.

Knackered

Source: Knackered: I am so knackered today.  Why?  Saturday morning my husband wakes me up early.  I’m so mad about this and don’t remember why I have to be up.  Throw myself out of bed in a huff.  Brush my teeth and hair(usual morning bathroom stuff).  I exit our bathroom to see him sound asleep.  It never happened.  I dreamed it.   Of course I’m just made at random since I can’t be made at my sleeping husband. This is the 3rd time recently I dreamed he woke me up.  First time I acted on it. I don’t know how he woke me us this time. Previous to this he knocked on our headboard. The first time he needed to know if I needed to use the bathroom before he showered.   We have three bathrooms!  So I’m kankered.  My dreams woke me up early three times in the past ten days.

Gray

Source: Gray : Colors take on so many meanings.   It’s literally a gray day here in New York.  The sky is physically gray.   Rainy day also.  Sometime people have gray days.  Especially when the sky is phisically gray.  Some people need the sun to thrive.   Everyone is different.   Personally whatever kind of day it is I can roll with it.  The sky is gray but I’m still pleasantly content.  Life is what you make it.  Make gray days great.

This is an enticing book to read because of the twist and turns it takes. Just when you think you have it figured out, you don’t. The book revolves around 2 young women that can never meet. These two characters are well developed initially. The others you get to know what you need to know. Some in more detail than others.  

Abuse, murder and revenge go on throughout the book. Plus there is an underlying weirdness lingering in this book. I voluntarily wrote this review. I would like to thank the publisher and author for my complimentary copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Zip

Source: Zip: I zip to my blog to discuss zip.  A word I’ve never though about but is crucial to our language.   No better way to describe getting right there, zip. Such a simple unassuming word.   You can zip virtually like I did to get here. You can zip to the store physically to pick up coffee so you can stay awake and zip around.  What a word!

Fry

Fry:  Fish fry.  The art of taking a nutritious, healthy food and turning it into one of the more unhealthy foods.  Usually breaded but that’s not required.  Drop the fish into a vat of very hot vegetable oil and after it is soaked and cooked you have a very tasty meal.  I do prefer it over the healthy broiled fish or raw sushi.   When I was young deep frying was no big deal.   Most houses had  deep fryers. Home made french fries(similar to fast food fries but tastier). Some countries fry candy bars.  I do want to have one of those.   It will be nice when this health craze ends and we can just fry food and enjoy it again!
