i am so pleased you stopped by to read this. Thank you for your time. So much social media out there it’s impossible to read it all. For some reason you wound up here. I consider myself fortunate if anyone reads anything I write about. To be pleased is a wonderful thing. A form of self satisfaction.
Except in the case “pleased to meet you.” You don’t even know the person so how do you know you’re pleased. This is just a formality rather than literally. Occasionally I want to ask “how do you know you’re pleased to meet me when you don’t even know me?” But that would be rude and put the other person on the spot which is not the point of an introduction.
Exactly!! How do you know?? I guess we are all trying to be modest and courteous. 😀😀

Maybe the judgment comes from the physical attributes like the voice, face, the way he/she dresses, and so on and so forth.

That is a good point but quite superficial.

Everyone asks how you are, but who really cares about the answer ( or even listens! ) 😃🐻

Exactly. Try asking “do you really want to know?” Some people will say no

Lol. It’s like asking “how ya doin’?” walking past someone not waiting for a reply.
