Impression

imageSource: Impression:  I’m still not blogging for 2 more days.  I also don’t speak to people in the same manner.  I make the statement “we are not speaking” and then continue to speak to that person.

i read another bloggers IMPRESSION Word Prompt response  which got me thinking.  Here I am not blogging because I’m not sure if it will make sense or be any good.   I’m on a high dose of IV steroids that leaves me in a fog so deep time doesn’t exist.

The reality is my impression of everything is altered.  Perhaps I see things differently.  It doesn’t mean I’m different. Your impression of my blog may or may not be altered by me actually sharing these things.  I don’t know.

I said to the other blogger “I don’t care what impressions I leave.”  Clearly I do. Thank you for reading this stream of consciousness.

I have lived in this house for 23 years. I’ve exited my car looking at this tree for 23 years. I saw THIS TREE for the first time today. It’s a gray rainy day. I’ve never noticed the little white blooms on the leaves before. Breathtaking. How short lived are these white blooms in these normally green leaves? In the drizzle I had to get a screenshot with my phone. What luck to be able to share it on the same day.

Monsterland by Micheal Philip Cash

I voluntarily offer my unbiased opinion about Monsterland. I would like to thank the publisher and author for this complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review.
This book has it all. Zombies, Werewolves and Vampires. Some people all around the world picked up this life altering virus. It was killing the global economy taking care of the infected and keeping them contaminated.
The story revolves around a group oh High School students going to the opening of Monsterland. The new theme park features real monster and has sites opening internationally all at the same time.
Things do not go well. Or do they? The characters are all well developed. Even among the monsters. There is violence of course but that is to be expected. Easy read.  Good beach book.

This is from my 2016 NetGalley pile. Got buried accidentally.   So many books.  So little time.
